Hubby brought home fresh strawberries ...
so I found a muffin recipe to use them with ...
Combine:
... 1 1/4 c all-purpose flour
... 2 1/2 t baking powder
... 1/2 t salt
Stir in:
... 1 c uncooked old-fashioned oats
... 1/2 c sugar
Separately combine:
... 1 c milk
... 1/2 c (1 stick) butter, melted
... 1 egg, beaten
... 1 t vanilla
Then stir into rest of the mixture.
Finally fold in:
... 1 c chopped fresh strawberries
Bake at 425 for 15-18 minutes

Notes:
I probably threw in closer to 1 1/2 to 2 cups of strawberries.
There was plenty of batter to totally fill the muffin cups.
