In the Land of Women (2007) was gretty good.
The write up intrigued me enough to want to watch it.
"His world in complete disorder after his break-up ...
Carter goes to suburban Detroit to care for his sickly Grandmother
and heal his broken heart. Along the way he forms a special bond
with the (Hardwicke) family that lives across from his Grandma,
and changes the life of each woman ... (and) his own life as well."
The main character is played by Adam Brody.
The grandmother is played by wacky, opinionated Olympia Dukakis.
The next door neighbor mother is played by Meg Ryan.
Her two daughters also fall for the Adam's character.
