Tonight we ended up doing the infamous rebuke of King David by the prophet Nathan from 2 Samuel 12. It has always been one of those chills in the spine moments from Scripture for me, when Nathan says to David "You are that man!".
We noticed a couple of things - God allowed consequences to David's sin (death of the baby by Bathsheba and strife in David's household) but He also forgave David and restored him to fellowship. God's grace can cover an adulterer and murderer.
