I thought a good idea for Sunday's might be let's read a story from the bible and discuss it. We picked Peter's miraculous release from prison after James' death from Acts 12. We talked about how the believers were praying for his release but when it happened, they didn't believe it! (Even Peter thought it was just a dream while it was happening.) Cathy also noted the similarities between this sequence and Paul's jailing just 4 chapters later but also the big difference in outcomes. Peter's guards were eventually executed for allowing the escape but Paul's chief jailor believed and got salvation.
We're hoping to do this every Sunday.
