Melt:
½ c chocolate chips
¼ t peppermint extract - let cool
Creme:
½ sugar
½ brown sugar
½ shortening
½ peanut butter
Add 1 unbeaten egg
Blend with 1¼ c flour and 3/4 t baking soda
Roll into balls.
Flatten with sugar coated glass bottom.
Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes.
Makes 3 dozen.
