Frankenstein Legacy

Over the weekend we watched these movies.
Frankenstein was written by Mary Shelley in 1818.

Frankenstein Legacy set:

Frankenstein (1931)
Bride of Frankenstein (1935)
Son of Frankenstein (1939)
The Ghost of Frankenstein (1942)
House of Frankenstein (1944)

The first two were directed by James Whale.
The middle one was directed by Rowland V. Lee.
The latter two were directed by Erle C. Kenton.

To follow it up:

Gothic (1986) - the story of the night Mary Shelley
gave birth to the horror classic Frankenstein.

Frankenstein (1994) - updated version
I have never read the novel but this is said to stick closer to the original. I enjoyed this one more than the 1931 version. Maybe partially because it is distinctively different than other version.
