Pot Roast

3 lb pot roast (angus beef bottom round works)
potatoes and carrots

Peel and cut the vegetables.
Layer them in crock pot.
Place pot roast on top.
Pour 1/2 cup of water over.

Cook about 10-12 hours on low.
One hour on low equates to two hours on high.

Note:
We had previous trouble with cooking potatoes.
We wanted to make sure they were complete done.
Started on high a bit after 10 AM.
Switched to low about 2:45 PM.
Sat down to eat at just after 7 PM.
So total time was just over 13 hours.
The potatoes and carrots were DONE!!!!
The pot roast also was done as it should be.
